Specialist team to be recruited
The South-East England Development Agency is assembling a specialist team to develop the future of the former HMS Daedalus site. Advertisements have been placed in an EU journal, seeking initial expressions of interest and inviting tenders for community consultants and transportation consultants. A planning consultant is already appointed, and the core project team is expected to be in place by the end of February. A website and a first newsletter on the redevelopment project will be produced by spring 2007.
