The Lee-on-the-Solent Guided Walk entry was chosen as a finalist in the South East Rural Towns Partnership (SERPT) Social & Community Category and two representatives from Vision4Lee Steering Group attended the presentation day in London at the BURA Offices, 4th Floor 63-66 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8LE on the 18th June.
Vision4Lee who were represented by Richard Needham and Sarah Snowden of HCC, made a short presentation to the panel about the Guided Walks project that was developed by Ray Harding and how it is connecting the community and creating a social resource for Lee-on-the-Solent. The Vision4Lee project came second in the final out of a total of ninteen projects. All category winners will also be considered for the overall regional title which will be announced at the ceremony.
As a finalist Vision4Lee received a cheque for £250 which will be used as a contribution to the running of projects.
